Ammaar Kazi


Ammaar Kazi is currently an MS2 at UT-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX, hoping to contribute to Islamic mental health as a psychiatrist. He is a co-founder of MSA Unity, an organization dedicated to unifying and elevating MSAs with the guidance of scholars across the the United States under one body. He has founded and served in various leadership roles within multiple Muslim organizations, including the SMU Muslim Student Association, MSA Lone Star Council, American Muslim Medical Student Association, DFW Suhoor Fest and Texas Muslim Bros. He has conventional research experience in Mental Health and Policy thinktanks as well as studied under traditional Islamic scholars in Dallas, TX. He is passionate about blending conventional Islamic knowledge and secular medical practices . Ammaar is focused on empowering and uniting the Muslim community through innovative programs, events, research, and education.
